Notification for radio equipment according to Article 269 of the Electronic Communications Act and Article 6.4 of Directive 1999/5/EC

The notification shall be sent to the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) at least 30 days (four weeks) before placing the radio equipment on the Bulgarian market.

The notification can be sent in one of the following ways:

·     e-mail to:       notification@crc.bg;

·     fax to:           + 359 2 949 20 87;

·     mail to:          6 Gurko street, 1000 Sofia, Communications Regulation Commission;

·     on-line OSN:  https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/osn.

The notifications sent via e-mail, fax and mail should contain all data according to the form of notification.

The notifications sent via e-mail and OSN shall obtain an automatic confirmation that the notification has been received.

CRC shall send individual responses to notifications only in the cases, where the radio equipment, for which the notification has been sent, can not be put into operation on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

 

Through the notification CRC is only informed about the intention to place radio equipment on the Bulgarian market. The notification:

 

-    does not mean approval for use of the radio equipment on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria;

-    does not guarantee the issuance of a permission to the user and putting the radio equipment into operation;

-    does not relieve the manufacturer of his obligations according to the Directive 1999/5/EC.
